Fast acting replaceable gas tube with weather proof O-ring, protects coax feedlines from surges exceeding 600V levels caused by nearby lightning strikes and static build-up. The arrester arcs-over between the RF center pin and shield connections. Insert in-line between your coax and antenna and connect the shield lug to earth ground rod with heavy wire.
