Up for auction is a lithographed
Pre-Prohibition
tray advertising
Grossvader Old German Lager Beer
from the
Emmerling Brewing Company of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
This lithographed tray is very colorful and measures 13-1/4” long by 10-1/2" high.
The tray was manufactured by Kaufmann & Strauss Company of
New York
and has a
copyright date of 1913
.
All in all, this
RARE
Pre-Prohibition tray is in great condition for its age.
The colors of the tray are STRONG without fading.
The tray does have some flaws with some nicks here and there and a 'ring' that has disturbed the paint around the man's left hand.
