BOB MARLEY. Bob Marley (1945-1981) was a Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter, and guitarist. As a member of the Wailers, a reggae band that included Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh, and later on his own, Marley propelled reggae to worldwide popularity.
ORIGINAL POSTER PROMOTING THE FILMED CONCERT IN SUPPORT OF BOB MARLEY AND THE WAILERS’ NINTH STUDIO ALBUM “EXODUS” IN 1977
Original Island Records poster promoting a filmed concert in support of Bob Marley and The Wailers’ ninth studio album “Exodus” at the Rainbow Theatre in Paris, France in June 1977. The poster features a great photo portrait of Marley by Kate Simon, printed in yellow and blue on thin stock paper with “‘Exodus’, Bob Marley & the Wailers” above and information pertaining to the showing of the film in French below, measures 31.25” by 22”, and in fine condition with a smoothed fold just below the center, light creasing at the bottom right corner, and a small area of loss at the bottom left corner.

We were unable to locate another “Exodus” poster available for sale at auction making the present poster virtually nonexistent and possibly the only one in private hands.
